Azé Igp Meditérannée – Cros de Calades
Vinification: It is a product of argilo-calcareous soils nestled between the Rhône and the Cévennes, benefiting from a Mediterranean climate and 30-year-old vines. Comprising 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah, and 20% Cinsault, it undergoes fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel for 20 days, accompanied by daily stirring. Unfined and unfiltered, it may present a slight natural deposit, and is aged for six months in stainless steel, resulting in a wine that reflects its artisanal roots.
Tasting note: A deep ruby hue hints at the wine’s richness. Aromas of blackberry and blackcurrant mingle with delicate notes of violets and cherries, evoking the essence of the Rhône Valley. On the palate, it unfolds with juicy freshness, smooth tannins, and a luxurious texture, culminating in a lingering finish that leaves a delightful mouthfeel.
