Cotes du Rhone Aop – Bons Ju Rouge – Domaine de la Graveirette
Vinification: This red wine is a carefully crafted blend of Grenache, Marselan, Merlot, and Mourvèdre, produced using organic and biodynamic farming methods. The grapes are hand-harvested in the early morning to preserve their quality, then destemmed and sorted to eliminate any undesirable elements. Natural yeast fermentation takes place in concrete tanks, contributing to the wine’s fresh character. The vineyards, situated on sandy and clay soils near the Ouvèze river, reflect a commitment to minimal intervention and low sulfite usage.
Tasting Note: It showcases a striking concentration of dark fruit, particularly black cherry and cassis, alongside delicate hints of violet, liquorice, and eucalyptus. With a mid-ruby hue, it exudes enticing aromas and a fresh, refined palate, marked by lively acidity and subtle minerality. The finish lingers beautifully, emphasising its fruit-forward character.
