“Gentilino delle Lampare” Sangiovese Romagna Doc – La Cantina di Cesena – Tenuta Amalia
Vinification: A 12% alc./vol. Sangiovese red from the Cesena area. Its charm lies in red fermentation with brief skin contact (4–5 days), followed by a cold fermentation to preserve freshness and fruity notes. Designed as a lighter, approachable red, it pairs well with fish dishes, delivering aromatic brightness without heaviness.
Tasting note: Ruby red and intensely vinous, with violet, currant and raspberry notes, and a subtle hint of undergrowth. The appearance gleams with vivid ruby reflections. The aroma is powerful and floral, carrying violets, currants, raspberries and earthy undertones. On the palate it is dry, softly tannic, and generously enveloping, offering a balanced, structured profile reminiscent of Sangiovese from Romagna’s hills.
