Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Colline Teramane Docg – Antares – San Lorenzo Winery

Vinification: Crafted from Montepulciano grapes in the Colline Teramane region, showcases the unique terroir of calcareous-clay soils at an elevation of 250-300 meters. After being harvested in October, the grapes undergo meticulous vinification, including a 14-20 day maceration on skins, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 30°C. The wine ages for a year in 500-litre French oak barrels, imparting depth and complexity, resulting in a remarkable and refined final product.
Tasting Note: This ruby wine, tinged with purple, delights with fruity aromas of bilberry, mulberry, and plum, enhanced by rich notes of vanilla and coffee. It boasts a full-bodied structure with sweet, velvety tannins that provide a gentle touch. The harmonious interplay of flavours ensures a lasting aromatic persistence, making it an ideal choice for wine enthusiasts.
