Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Doc “Sirio” – San Lorenzo Winery

Vinification: Harvesting occurs in early October for optimal grape ripeness. The vinification process involves gentle pressing and extended skin maceration at low temperatures for enhanced flavor without compromising fruit integrity. Fermentation is controlled at 28°C, resulting in a vibrant, aromatic profile. The wine matures in stainless steel tanks, preserving varietal characteristics, and ages in the bottle for 3 to 5 years, evolving complexity and depth for a rewarding experience.
Tasting Note: This intense ruby red wine displays aromas of raspberry, blackberry, and strawberry, with spicy hints of cinnamon and cloves. On the palate, it mirrors these flavors, offering a full, fruity structure that is sweet and inviting. The soft, velvety tannins enhance the experience, providing great aromatic persistence without being aggressive.
