Negroamaro Salento Igp – Celebration – Tenute Emèra
Vinification: This wine, made entirely from 100% Negroamaro grapes, hails from carefully cultivated vineyards employing the ‘cordone speronato’ method, set between the lovely coastal regions of Lizzano and Pulsano. Thriving on medium-textured soil rich in silica, clay, and sand, these vineyards yield an impressive 150 quintals per hectare. The vinification involves a 15-day maceration and fermentation in concrete tanks, followed by 10 months of refinement in second- or third-generation barrels. This dedicated approach captures the true essence of its unique terroir.
Tasting Note: This wine boasts an intense ruby red colour, captivating the eye. Rich fruit aromas greet the nose, inviting exploration. On the palate, it delivers a smooth and balanced flavour, creating a delightful harmony that lingers gently. The overall experience is one of elegance and fullness, beautifully showcasing the wine’s character.
