Negroamaro Salento Igt – Campi Deantera
Vinification: It is grown near San Pietro Vernotico, on clayey, thin soils enriched with rock, around 40 metres above sea level. Vines are planted at 4500 per hectare. Grapes are hand-harvested in the second week of September. Vinification emphasises vibrant primary fruit aromas through thermo-controlled maceration and a ten-day alcoholic fermentation using ten selected yeasts, all in stainless steel to preserve freshness and a clean, approachable structure.
Tasting note: It is an approachable, full-bodied red from Puglia, celebrated for its deep ruby colour and a vibrant bouquet of black cherry, plum and red berries, with hints of laurel and Mediterranean herbs. Its palate is smooth and well-balanced, with soft tannins and a touch of ripe sweetness, finishing harmoniously with an easy, pleasant aftertaste.
