Nia Vin de France – Cros de Calades
Vinification: With a limited production of just 11,800 bottles, this wine exemplifies dedication to quality and terroir. It emerges from 30-year-old vines planted in argilo-calcareous soils between the Rhône and the Cévennes, nurtured by a Mediterranean climate. Composed of 75% Syrah and 25% Grenache, the vinification employs indigenous yeasts and a 40-day infusion in 100-hl wooden tronconic tanks. Unfined and unfiltered, it may develop a natural deposit, and is aged for six months, reflecting its organic roots as a certified Vin de France.
Tasting note: This deep ruby red wine boasts a fine aromatic complexity on the palate, enriched with intense and profound notes. Its tannins are both crisp and smooth. Best served at 16 to 17°C, it offers aging potential of 3 to 4 years while maintaining its vibrant character.
