Rose’ di Negroamaro “Pinataro” Puglia Igp – Tagaro
Vinification: A gentle vinification preserves the grape’s fresh, fruity character. Negroamaro grapes are destemmed and undergo brief cold maceration at about 10–12°C for 18–36 hours, drawing out pink-hued aromas with minimal tannin. Alcoholic fermentation occurs in stainless steel at controlled temperatures to retain dark cherry and blackberry notes, then three days of racking. Stainless steel ageing protects the fruit-forward profile, with a 1–3 month bottle ageing to achieve balance, in northern Salento, Puglia.
Tasting Note: This rosé offers lively, fruity notes of raspberry, cherry, pink grapefruit and orange. Juicy and medium-bodied, it carries refreshing acidity and a bright, fruity finish. A delicate saline tang lingers at the end, giving breadth and length.
