“Amae” Costa Toscana Igt – Fuori Mondo
Vinification: A Tuscan red built around 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, grown biodynamically on schist and clay, with low yields and hand-harvest. Maceration lasts six days, then 12 months in 225-litre French oak before bottle maturation. Vinified with natural yeasts and minimal intervention, the wine is bold, structured and mineral-driven, offering extended ageing potential and a refined, pure profile with typically modest sulfites and little fining or filtration.
Tasting note: A powerful, deep ruby-red Tuscan wine built on Cabernet Sauvignon, muscular yet refined. Aromas of dark fruits, blackberries, notes of prunes, dark cherry, cassis, perhaps dark chocolate or espresso, alongside leather, tobacco and spice. Full-bodied with dense structure and high fruit intensity. Firm, smooth tannins and fresh acidity support a long, harmonious finish that is sophisticated.
