“Carmen & Figaro” Costa Toscana Igt – Fuori Mondo
Vinification: An expressive blend of Carménère and Alicante Bouschet, 35 hl/ha, pressed directly and aged 24 months in gres amphora plus 12 in cement. From the Etruscan coast in Maremma, Tuscany (150–180m), it is biodynamic, with indigenous yeasts and minimal sulfur. A natural-winemaker approach prioritising terroir purity, low intervention and biodiversity, crafted for freshness, elegance and aromatic clarity, producing high-intensity, limited quantities.
Tasting note: Often hailed as a silky, well‑balanced Carmenère-dominated wine, it presents fresh, elegant, varietal notes, likely intense black fruit with herbal hints drawn from its coastal terroir. Has a long, finish, with aromas that swing from a precise, fresh elegance to a minerally coastal character. The palate remains smooth, balanced, with a lingering retro-palate; a gust of fragrance gives way to a lunar sweetness.
