Gelsomoro Rosso Marche Igt – Il Gelsomoro

Vinification: An organic, artisanal blend from Marche, a blend of Montepulciano, Sangiovese, and a touch of Lacrima, crafted by Silvia Giorgetti. It embraces spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, 20 days of maceration, and minimal sulfur. The Montepulciano and Sangiovese mature in steel or cement to preserve fruit purity, while Lacrima ages in wooden barrels for about 18 months, often remaining on the lees. A distinctive, rustic expression with thoughtful restraint.

Tasting Note: A clean red with a fruit core in perfect balance with wood‑derived notes, its tannins round and neatly compact. This organic Italian red from Le Marche blends Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Lacrima into a medium‑to‑full body, offering intense cherry and blackberry with violet, leather and earthy spice. Rich, elegant and balanced, it finishes long and savoury, with polished tannins and a refined, enduring presence.
