“Matt & O” Costa Toscana Igt – Sangiovese – Fuori Mondo
Vinification: The Fuori Mondo estate in Tuscany, embracing a natural, low-intervention ethos that honours purity and terroir. Predominantly 100% Sangiovese from schist soils, it ages 6 days of maceration, 24 months in anfora di grés, and 12 months in cemento, with wild yeasts, no fining or filtration, and minimal sulphites, at very low yields.
Tasting note: A refined, intense aroma of bright red and black berries, cherry and gooseberry, opens to reveal chocolate, tobacco, pepper and espresso, with herbal hints. On the palate it’s medium-to-full-bodied, round and rich, with cherry-fresh acidity that keeps its long frame in balance. Tannins are ripe and the finish complex, earthy from its terroir. A natural/biodynamic wine, focused on freshness and elegance.
