“Monsieur Antoine” Costa Toscana Igt – Alicante – Fuori Mondo
Vinification: A monovarietal red from Tuscany, crafted from 100% Alicante Nera, this wine embodies a biodynamic, low-intervention ethos. Fermented spontaneously with native yeasts in neutral vessels, it preserves the grape’s true character and the Tuscan terroir. Sulphites run very low, often below 10 mg/L, with no fining and only light filtration. Aged in neutral vessels such as concrete, it remains fresh, elegant and authentic, capturing the Etruscan coast’s essence without heavy oak influence.
Tasting note: A light-bodied, natural Tuscan red, often crafted from Alicante (Grenache) grapes, exudes purity, freshness, and a low-intervention ethos. It unfolds with vibrant red berry aromas especially strawberry, alongside subtle earthy notes and refreshingly soft tannins. In the glass, the pale, luminous red signals its dry, brisk palate and gluggable, lightly fizzy texture, while the fruit remains bright and pure, tempered by quiet earthiness and a restrained, elegant structure.
