“Campo Minimo” Bianco d’Italia – Campi Deantera
Vinification: Campo Minimo Bianco d’Italia blends Riesling, Huxelrebe and Scheurebe from Li Marini Estate in Salento, Southern Italy. The vineyard sits about 10 km from the sea on a west/southwest slope, roughly 100 m above sea level, with warm, low-rainfall conditions and protective sea breezes. Yellow clay-sand soil over limestone. Grapes are hand-picked in late July and vinified in stainless steel after a brief cold maceration, under thermo-controlled conditions with selected yeasts.
Tasting note: Golden-yellow with subtle nuances, it unfurls a bouquet of bright citrus, fresh lime, crisp green apple, and delicate hints of hydrocarbons. The palate is fresh and elegantly structured, carrying a mineral backbone and a brisk, dry finish. Despite Puglia’s heat, it delivers vibrant acidity and extraordinary drinkability, making it remarkably thirst-quenching for a dry style.
