Pinot Grigio Doc Collio – Draga

Vinification: The wine originates from a hillside vineyard with clay marl and sandstone soils. Established 18 years ago, the vines are pruned using the Guyot method. Manual harvesting took place in August, with no herbicides employed. The grapes were hand-selected, destemmed, and gently pressed. After a 24-hour maceration at low temperatures, fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks. The wine matured for about seven months on its lees before being bottled, and underwent natural stabilisation.

Tasting note: A delicate copper hue, derived from a brief skin maceration. Its aromatic profile boasts floral and fruity notes of acacia, jasmine, toasted almonds, ginger, pink pepper, pear, apple, and citrus. The palate is expansive and mineral, offering a fresh, lively, and harmoniously intense experience, with a pleasantly savoury finish. Any deposit is attributed to the natural stabilization process.
