Sangiovese Rubicone Igp Rosato “Maramato” – Tenuta Mara
Vinification: This Sangiovese wine, crafted from biodynamically grown vines aged around ten years on clay and limestone soil, embodies a unique “white winemaking” approach. After manual selection and optical sorting, the gently pressed grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation in oak tonneaux for a month and a half. The wine matures on its lees in French oak barrels for a year, attaining a distinctive coppery hue. Unfined and unfiltered, it remains suitable for vegetarians and vegans, boasting an alcohol content of 14%.
Tasting Note: This exquisite wine displays a brilliant copper hue and reveals intense aromas of orange peel, candied sugar, and vanilla, underscored by a hint of menthol. Its palate is both savory and velvety, featuring well-balanced acidity that enhances the experience, culminating in a long, satisfying finish. To be enjoyed fresh, it captivates the senses beautifully.
