Vermentino – Uguale – Tenuta San Bartolomeo

Vinification: The Vermentino grape, cultivated in clay-rich soil and sourced from eight-year-old vines, thrives in the warm hills of the Tiber Valley. Hand-harvested in crates to ensure pristine quality, the grapes are gently destemmed and lightly pressed to extract optimal juice while retaining freshness. Spontaneous fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures between 15°C and 18°C, followed by maturation in steel to preserve the wine’s vibrant aromas and fruity character.

Tasting note: A bright straw yellow hue, occasionally shimmering with greenish reflections. It exudes an intense bouquet of white-fleshed fruits, citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit, alongside floral hints of white blossoms and acacia. On the palate, it is lively and fresh, boasting a harmonious balance of acidity and mineral complexity, culminating in a long, refreshing finish that beckons another sip.
