Cio’ Bacaro – Doc Barbarano – Pialli
Barbarano represents the maximum expression of Tai Rosso, the great native grape of the Berici Hills.
Middle age of the vines 16 years. Marly limestone soils and charged red clays
of skeleton.
Harvested by hand in small boxes and maceration for 2 weeks in steel tanks, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aging 18 months in 500-liter French oak barrels and subsequent aging in the bottle for 12 months.
Vinified in purity, with a long maceration on the skins and 18 months of aging
in cask, this wine is the result of a low yield per vine and a meticulous work in the vineyard with the utmost respect for the environment.
