Petrizza – Vermentino di Gallura Docg Biodynamic – Tenuta Masone Mannu

“Petrizza” is a Vermentino di Gallura with distinct personality and balance, originating from the Gallura region of Sardinia.
Territory:
The soil mainly consists of granite sands. The vineyard is Guyot-trained and has a density of 4,000 vines per hectare, yielding an average of 80 quintals per hectare. All grapes are sourced from biodynamic farms, reflecting a strong commitment to grape quality and environmental sustainability. The grapes come from a single vineyard planted about twenty-five years ago.
Winemaking:
The harvest is done manually in crates in early September. Following the gentle, soft pressing, the juice undergoes fermentation under carefully controlled temperatures, preserving the delicate flavours. The wine is refined for at least three months on the fine lees and one month in the bottle.
Tasting Notes:
This exquisite wine presents a captivating pale straw yellow hue interlaced with greenish reflections. The aroma entices the senses with delightful hints of golden apple and mandarin, enriched by notes of aromatic herbs and subtle undertones of almonds. On the palate, it delights with a refreshing and savoury profile, exhibiting a refined structure that balances elegance with a pleasing intensity. This wine truly embodies a harmonious experience that is both sophisticated and memorable.
