Château de Sancerre is one of the few French châteaux to bear the name of an appellation.Located on the left bank of the Loire, dominating a unique terroir of 4 different soils, it has 55 hectares of vineyard, planted with vines of average age of 25 years. The rolling hills and semi-continental climate of the region produce Sauvignon Blancs with a beautiful structure, lively and fresh, evoking aromas of ripe gooseberries, hints of smoke and gun flint. The wines of Château de Sancerre are vinified and aged until bottling, directly at the Château. The entire vineyard has a certification attesting biodiversity, fertilisation management, irrigation and phytosanitary strategy.
