Domaine Fillon is a family-owned winery located in Saint-Bris-le-Vineux, in the Burgundy region of France.
It has a rich tradition of winemaking that has been passed down through generations. In the early 20th century, Jules Fillon, along with his wife Camille and their son Louis, began producing wine for commercial purposes. This heritage underscores their commitment to quality and respect for the land.
The vineyard spans two wine regions: Saint-Bris and Chablis. The climate here is ideal for grape production, with harsh winters and hot summers.
The well-established wine region covers approximately 4,700 hectares.
In 1986, as the original winery located beneath their house became too small, Frédérique and Hervé decided to build a new winery at the bottom of the village. By the year 2000, they had purchased a second cellar, as the first one was no longer sufficient.
Today, the Fillon estate boasts 35 hectares of vineyards, which include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Aligoté.
The Chablis designation encompasses twenty villages and has gained fame for its exceptional white wines.
