Maison Huguenot Tassin was founded in 1984 by Benoît and Marie-Claire Huguenot. Initially, the plot was small, but it has since expanded to cover 6 hectares. All the grapes harvested from this area are vinified and made into champagne.

As early as the beginning of the last century, the Tassin family pressed grapes for the village’s winegrowers. Today, Celles-sur-Ource is home to more than 40 champagne brands, serving a population of around 500.

The Maison has developed a range of champagnes that express their signature style in various ways. As the fourth generation producing champagne in Celles-sur-Ource, they honor the past while striving to improve the future. This commitment to a sustainable balance motivates them to create champagnes that are increasingly expressive, refined, and complex.

As a winemaker from the Côte des Bar region in the Aube department, Maison Huguenot-Tassin is dedicated to more environmentally respectful viticulture. With this goal in mind, they joined Terra Vitis, an association of French winegrowers who have pioneered sustainable viticulture for over 15 years. Today, Terra Vitis continues to promote the close and inseparable bond between the vine and the terroir. Terra Vitis represents a unique national standard for sustainable viticulture, recognized by all French winegrowers.

It emphasizes the importance of respecting the environment and the terroir while meeting consumer expectations.
