Barolo DOCG del Comune di Barolo – Virna Borgogno
Vinification: The process begins with crushing and destemming the grapes, followed by a 10-day maceration period with the skins in traditional vats equipped with rotating paddles. We then rack the wine and return it to the vat to enhance the extraction of polyphenols. The wine is then aged in barrels ranging from 300 to 500 liters for approximately 18 months. Finally, we allow it to rest in steel tanks before bottling.
Tasting note: Intense ruby red color with a nose full of red fruits and hints of oak and vanilla. It has complete and concentrated tannins, visible tannins, and splendid fruit. This wine is complex and full-bodied, with abundant fruit and round tannins.
