Reserva Tempranillo – Bodega Artero
Vinification: Following a careful assessment of the grape quality, they undergo de-stemming, crushing, and a 24-hour pre-maceration at 15ºC. The fermentation and subsequent maceration take place over ten days at a steady 25ºC. The wine is aged for two years in 225L barrels, crafted from American and French oak, before being clarified. After a minimum six-month bottling period, it is finally prepared for release, showcasing vibrant acidity and fresh citrus and red fruit notes, characteristic of an exceptional vintage.
Tasting Note: This wine displays a captivating dark cherry hue, adorned with a lighter cherry red rim. Its balanced nose reveals inviting toasted notes, complemented by clean aromas of cherry, plum, raisin, bay leaves, and eucalyptus. On the palate, it offers a silky texture enriched with ripe fruit flavours alongside hints of spice, coffee, vanilla, and cinnamon. The tannins are beautifully integrated, leading to a persistent and satisfying finish. Ideal for pairing with roast meats, hearty stews, vegetables, and ripe cheeses.
