Vinification: This Friulano wine exemplifies a distinctive character rooted in its terroir. The maceration process occurs in large oak barrels for 60 to 90 days, followed by a three-year aging in 20 to 30 hectolitre barrels. Afterward, it undergoes a further six months of bottle refinement. Best enjoyed at 15°C, the wine’s sediments are crucial for maintaining its vitality and enhancing its longevity.
Tasting Note: The Nekaj (Friulano-Tokai) captivates with its aromatic charm, offering enticing notes of freshly cut flowers, mint, tangerine, and succulent peaches. Its straw-gold hue is complemented by delicate white fruit, spice, and herbal aromas. A honeyed elegance intertwines with a subtle bitterness, culminating in a refreshing minerality that beautifully reflects its terroir.
