Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Docg – Venturini
Vinification: A remarkable blend of 70% Corvina, 25% Rondinella, and 5% Molinara, available in 750ml and 1500ml bottles, with an alcohol content of 16%. Sourced from Monte Masua in Valpolicella Classica at 250 meters elevation, the vineyards benefit from a light, calcareous soil. Vines, aged around 30 years, yield 60 quintals of grapes per hectare. After meticulous hand harvesting in late September, the grapes dry until January before being fermented, matured for 24 months in oak, and aged in bottle for an additional six months.
Tasting Note: It showcases a rich, luminous garnet-red colour, exuding concentrated aromas of sweet violets and macerated cherries, accented by hints of pepper and cloves. The palate is bold and warm, perfectly balanced with lively acidity and firm tannins, offering an elegant sip that concludes with a lingering finish of sweet, spirited small fruits.
