Dolcetto d’Alba “‘l” Doc – Virna Borgogno

Vinification: Grapes are gently pressed, followed by maceration with the grape skins for 5 to 6 days at a maximum temperature of 25-27°C, ensuring the marcs are properly immersed and remounted. The wine is then preserved in stainless steel tanks, where malolactic fermentation is completed.

Tasting note: It has a deep ruby-red color with vibrant bright and mauve reflections. Its bouquet is aromatic and floral, featuring prominent notes of cherries and violets, along with hints of cooked fruit and raisins that develop in the year following the harvest. The flavor is dry and well-balanced, with a pleasantly thick texture.
