Merlot Igt Veneto Organic – La Cappuccina

Vinification: It is produced entirely from the estate’s own vineyards. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented on their skins for eight to ten days at temperatures peaking at 28°C (83°F). After undergoing malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for seven to eight months in large oak casks, which enhances its elegance while retaining vibrant fruitiness. It is released a year after the harvest, beautifully reflecting its vintage and terroir.

Tasting Note: It showcases an intense ruby red colour with violet reflections. Its nose reveals the frape variety’s herbaceous quality, mingled with subtle berry and oak notes. On the palate, it delivers a dry, well-balanced experience with noble tannins that remain smooth and inviting. Fresh and fruity, it features delightful hints of raspberries, complemented by light oak undertones.
