Tenuta La Cà is a young and innovative company, expres- sion of Pietro and Aldo Giambenini who in the spring of 2018 left the big cities and returned to Bardolino to man- age a 12-hectare vineyard that has a precious diversity of soils, all rich in minerals from clayey mixtures to morainic gravels with calcareous silts and from vines: Corvina, Cor- vinone, Rondinella, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Lagrein Petit Verdot among the reds; Pinot Grigio and Bianco, Tramin- er and Garganega among the whites. The two brothers have set up a company that operates entirely accordingto biological processes. The working method is the real differentiating reason for Tenuta La Cà: harvesting exclu- sively by hand, given a certainly easy logistics with less than 600 meters between vineyard and cellar, parcelling of the vineyard; and above all the pioneering (for the area) gravity method, which leads the grapes to undergo the in- fluences of gravity without the aid of mechanical pumps. Science replacing technology, to maximize the quality of the raw material leaving it practically intact, and subtrac- tion enology that eliminates the additions in favour of a natural approach.
