Fuori Mondo is a small, poetic wine project rooted in Volpaiole, in Tuscany’s Maremma on the Etruscan Coast. The vineyard looks out toward Punta Ala and the islands of Giglio and Elba, with Corsica visible on clear days. Surrounded by natural parks, the estate is shaped by a rich Mediterranean flora and diverse wildlife, with scents like mint, violet, and wild fennel in the air. The vineyard covers almost 10 hectares, farmed as a set of individual plots and ideas rather than a fixed “recipe.”
Olivier, a self-taught “neo winemaker,” crafts wines as a personal journey, guided by intuition, experience, and occasion al happy accidents. He focuses on freshness and elegance, bottling single-varietal expressions that highlight each grape’s
character. Some cuvées return every vintage, while others appear only occasionally, depending on the year and Olivier’s choices.
A signature innovation is Fuori Marmo®, where wine is aged in custom-carved ovoid white-marble tanks to amplify a deep, “telluric” expression.Overall, Fuori Mondo blends place, experimentation, and craftsmanship into wines that feel both grounded in Tuscany and deliberately “outside the world.”
